Individual Telephonic Consulting

 I have served in 6 congregations through the years.  I have also spent over 20 years either teaching or consulting with pastors and congregations.  When I served in congregations, there were  times when I felt as if I was not the person for the job.  I couldn't seem to do anything right and nothing I tried seemed to work.  I desperately needed to talk with someone but I was hesitant to talk with another pastor nor would I talk with anyone in the congregation.
     Also through the years there were times when I had some idea, some program that I wanted to start but I was not sure if what I was thinking made any sense or I was on the right track.  Again, I was hesitant to talk with another pastor nor was I inclined to talk with someone in the congregation.  
      These are the circumstances that eventually led me to do consultations by phone.  In most cases I did not know the pastor I was consulting with nor would we ever meet.  But my experiences could be helpful.  I have served in suburban, urban and small town congregations.  I have served in small as well as very large congregations.  There are very few circumstances that I have not encountered either directly as a  congregational pastor or as one who worked closely with pastors and congregations.  

Basic facts about the consultations:
1.  Each consultation lasts 30-45 minutes
2.  Any congregational concern can be discussed.  My consultations do not become involved in marriage or personal issues.
3.  Cost for each consultation is $45 payable following the consultation.  If you do not feel the consultation was worthwhile you do not pay.
4.  Consultations are completely confidential.  No one will ever hear
from me the name of anyone I have consulted with.  
5.  Consultations begin with an email to this address:
